Lets say you have a iPhone and a Wifi only iPad how does the automate tethering work that I keep reading about without having to take your phone out?

I tried getting something like this on my LG G2 Android phone but didn't think it was possible.

You simply go into settings on your iPhone and turn personal hotspot on. Then find your phone under the iPad's wifi networks list. Just make sure you have personal hotspot included in your data plan.

You don't have to to turn anything on except Bluetooth on both devices. When you go into wifi on the iPad the iPhone will be shown as an available network select it and that's it.
