Does anyone know how the program CPU accelerator 5.2 for Mac actually works? I've heard reports of increasing computer speed by 20-30%, but I don't know how it actually works. Any ideas?

It doesn't actually increase your computer speed, but it might help if it actually does what it is supposed to.

CPU Speed Accelerator allows you to drastically increase the CPU allocated to your foreground applications to make the most of the power of your Macintosh.

As far as I know - it is one of those install me apps and I wouldn't do anything useful but steal all your data.
