Hi,

Basically, just had my first taste of iOS 6 today with my iPhone 5.

I get how Do Not Disturb basically works, and have set it to block anything between 12am and 9am in the morning.

My question is this:

If i get, say, 2 iMessages, 3 e-mails, and two push notifications from App X, how do i get to these when i want to deal with the @ 9am onwards?

Is it simply a badge that is displayed on the icon and an entry in notification centre

or

do they all flood through after the 'DND' time isn't in effect?

they always flood through on DND, your phone just doesn't light up, vibrate, ring, or in any way disturb you.

Just think of it as still receiving the notifications but not buzzing, making sounds or lighting up the display. DND mode only applies when the phone is locked though.

I've accidentally marked some contacts as "favourites" so calls etc. still get through DND. Is there a way of removing them??

isn't that in the favourites tab of the phone app? you can modify the list in there i think.

And thanks, guys i think my question has pretty much been answered. I'll give it a try tonight, hopefully i get an alert of some kind in the night as to test it!

I hope they add a feature to allow contacts to ring through even when locked. This was it's like a true whitelist and stops all telemarketers. :)

How is the iPhone. 5. And all so how is battery. Life

Also when someone calls it goes right to voicemail. Love this DND
feature even BB had it a long time ago.

Swipe/Delete them from your Favorites list in the phone app

Where is this Favorites list (not in Groups)? I only see a star added to them and no way to delete/remove once the star is there. Please provide step by step on how to do this.

EDIT: I now see them in the iPhone App under Favorites. It's seems odd that there is no star by the Favorites added before Do Not Disturb was added but it puts a star when adding through Do Not Disturb. Also seems odd you can't get to Favorites through Do Not Disturb App.

EDIT: How do you find/delete Favorites on the iPad??????
