so did my early 2008 increase in value or decrease?

you can sell it for 30000$ now. its a collectors item, only few hundred thousands were made !woohoo!

its a computer, and its not an ENIAC.
what do you think?
and yes, i do have expresscard in a unibody :eek:o which makes it rarer than yours. :p
no offense please.. its late and im sleepy, i just kid.

on a personal note, mine has increased in value, for me personally. im gonna add in my signature that right now.

I originally had doubts about my purchase back in mid april this year, but after seeing the "upgrades" to the 15 inch pro I am glad I made my purchase and will never look back.

Being able to replace my battery and hdd with more ease than these new ones definitely suites me much more.

The processor upgrades are minimal, and IMHO I think the life of the computer is significantly reduced with processors like the 2.93 and 3.06... especially in the insanely-hot-already mbp.

I can see the price of the more "user configurable" pros going up definitely, had I not have purchased my mbp when I did I would have gone to ebay now and purchased a the previous pro definitely.

Just my thoughts.

I don't know if the price of these older unibodies will go up, but it certainly has some uses.

What I want to know is why apple chooses to move to non-removable batteries. The thing is that two removable batteries by apple's estimations would give you 10 hours. One non-removable battery gives you 7 hours. Now since the main purpose for this kind of stuff is long trips, why not just go with two removable batteries?

To those of you already have the latest MBP with SD card slot, does the card stick out of the slot when the card is properly inserted?

So... Apple did away with a plan to replace ExpressCard slot for Apple Remote Holder...

Why keep ExpressCard slot for 17-inchers? The legacy implies that having an ExpressCard slot is an honorary status of Pro. It's yet another Apple's experiment on us Guinea Pigs of new amenity. What a cheap bastard! :)

The new battery. I like.

EDIT: Question has been answered by a kind macrumor-er. It does stick out about 1 cm.
