... by paying off DXOmark to "review" it the SAME DAY IT'S ANNOUNCED. lmao.
Only the finest tinfoil for your head, I would imagine.
ok so explain how they have "highest rated camera" in a commercial which is released the same day as the phone is announced?
Because they gave DXOMark a working model prior to today. Money changing hands doesn't have to happen. This isn't the first time a phone has launched with a DXOMark score.
Ok and how exactly can you prove that it was a production model then if it was reviewed prior to the announcement?
So now your theory is that they are trying to con everyone by using a worse camera in the production model? Typically performance is even better on final production models compared to prototypes... So even if you want to keep that tin foil hat on, it doesn't change anything.
No the point is why even objectively do it in the first place? What is this huge need to advertise it on the day of the announcement as the "highest rated camera".
You have heard of such a thing as a competitive market, right?
I don't work at the company so I don't know. And given your posts around here lately, it's sour grapes over the score.
Why? Becasue if you have the best camera and know it, you want the information out on the first day.
Have you ever followed video card or CPU release? It works more or less the same way, reviewers get the product in advance and release the review once the embargo is lifted.
And it works that way with movies and with music and with other phones...
Amazing, I always wondered how they knew the fuel economy of cars before they were even released s/
They probably received the phones days prior to keynote to test them out.
That's almost too obvious, lol
Same reason iPhone 8 Plus was named highest rated on its announcement date but the Note 8 which had been out longer wasn't tested.
Apparently conspiracy theorists think otherwises hahaha
It’s clear that google had demo units out for previews.
There’s at least a dozen hands-on with YouTube vloggers up right now for viewing.
In all my years on MacRumors, I finally came across the worst thread in history.
Not sure if troll or just a generally curious human.
Same reason how people you tubers have them to review.
Are you serious?
You either are insanely naive (in that case welcome to the real world) or spectacularly failing at trolling (nice try)!
Makes me think of this.
They climb to the top of Everest on Day 1 and take a photo from the top, and then rate it. Highest rated.
I think the first and not the latter to be honest
Generally curious troll?
