Carrier How does having 2 carriers work for data ?

How does it know which carrier to use with data ? Is it possible to use both for data and have it determine which one has greater speed or signal to use that one instead for data ? Or no not really ?

One number at a time can use cellular data. To change which number uses cellular data, follow these steps:

I know that but does it ever switch automatically if one number has a weak data 4g lte siginal ?
