How does non-visual voicemail look like/work on iPhone?

I've seen videos of visual voicemail, but have no idea how voicemail works on networks that don't support this..?

Instead of a number in a red circle on the phone icon, you'll just get a red circle to indicate you have voicemail. When you then click on the voicemail tab, it'll give you a button to call the voicemail number, just like any other phone.

thanks, i guess it was like that... so no menu-style system at all like the visual voicemail. I guess i can live without it if i need to.

you also have to listen to all the voice mails and cant choose a certain one.

i only get a voicemail every now and again, so wont bother me at all.
