How does one modification however the apps on the iPad rotate?

When I move the apps, they only move left or right. I would like to alter however the apps move from one page to a different. I saw it done before.

Hold your finger on one till it wiggles then drag it where you like. Home button stops the wiggling

I try to do as you have suggested, it is very easy to do. This is a very good bit of my help.

I'm not sure if your question was answered but if you drag an app icon to the edge of of the screen and hold it there for a second or two it will move to the next page. You can create a new page this way as well.
