How does the 5C compare as a hotspot to 6 or 6S?

I know the 5C phones are made with (some) cheaper parts, does it provide as good a hotspot as the newer phones, or might I notice a difference? Does anyone know or have had the opportunity to compare?

I dont think you'll be able to tell much difference between the 2.
The iphone 6 and 6S has slightly faster LTE radios but it also depends on your carrier and local area coverage.

Essentially identical performance.

Slightly faster LTE performance on newer devices. If you're looking for purely a hotspot, the 5c is fine and dirt cheap too. But bear in mind, most carriers charge more per month for a phone than for a hotspot.
