How does the external disk sharing with Time Capsule work?

I have a Time Capsule, a MacBook Pro and a Drobo. The Drobo is connected to the MacBook Pro, not the Time Capsule directly.

If I got a MobileMe account and shared the Drobo, then I could access all my files anywhere, right? Or does the Drobo have to be connected to the Time Capsule?

For the Time Capsule feature, it has to be connected directly to the Time Capsule.

You could use the "Back To My Mac" feature of Leopard and MobileMe that lets you control your computer over the internet.

You'd connect to the MacBook Pro using another Mac and then access the disk like normal.
