Hey guys-

I'm trying to come up with my setup for law school next year. I'm thinking of getting a PBG4 1.67ghz 15", and a 20 or 23" LCD (either cinema display or dell). I figure there will be no problem running at a high enough resolution, as long as I get the 128MB VRAM upgrade. Also, I was figuring I'd get something like the Avermedia TVBox thing, and running both the PB and cable TV inputs into the box and then from the box into the LCD. Does this setup sound workable? Anything else I should consider?

Thanks,
Andrew

How does it sound? Prett naff, unless you buy some external speakers as well... :D

The Dell widescreens have analog inputs for video as well as DVI and VGA, so an external box is not strictly necessary unless you want to digitize VHS or broadcast source.

Otherwise if you have the bux, go for it.

Oh sweet. If the 2005FPW or the 2405FPW supports PIP with two inputs, I'll probably just get that. Just wanted to make sure this setup would work. Thx.
