Hi guys,

It's my understanding that Time Machinr is smart enough to have if you change the name of a folder that its still the same folder and its contents won't be backed up again. Does anyone know how Time Machine handles moved folders? For example, say I have a "Motion Pictures" folder that contains 200 GB worth of movies located at ~/Movies/Motion Pictures/. If I were to move it to, say, ~/Archives/Motion Pictures/, would Time Machine re-copy all of that data and use up another 200 GB of my external storage, or is it smart enough to "re-direct" the hard link, since all that data already exist?
