How Does WiFi Sync Work?

Thinking about purchasing WiFi Sync. Does it work well?

it works great. I use it on my ipad & ip4. After every future new firmware upgrade, this is the app I'm going to miss the most until I can JB my ip4 again. Being able to sync via wireless is something Apple needs to implement. Until then, Wifi sync does it for me and it's been working flawlessly so far. Well worth the price.

I don't use it, but the only downside I've read about is it prevents restores. You have to remove it to restore, then I guess just re-install it.
