So you can take the watch in to the Apple Store and they will flash it back?
When you did this, did you get an email saying:They fedex me a box with everything I needed to send it too them. It only took 4 days.
I just did a chat last night. They instructed me to just take the watch to a UPS store and they would send it back. Then I got the email saying I would get a box in 2 days. I asked about taking it to the Apple store and they said no, you have to take it to UPS. I'm going to swing by the Apple Store on the way home and see if they will swap it out instead. I might bug them about the minor scuffs the Milanese Loop made and see if that and my AppleCare will get them to replace it.
When you did this, did you get an email saying:
"The technicians couldn't reproduce the symptom you mentioned when you requested service. They confirmed that your product meets our specifications for performance, usability, and functionality. They also installed the latest software and firmware, if necessary.
We're sending it to you along with a letter that provides more information. You'll get it in about two business days."
I've read on here that people are getting replacements if done through AppleCare-- however, it looks like in my case, they just flashed my Watch and are sending it back.
At this point, Beta 3 is out, is it worth the hardship? Beta 2 was much better than Beta 1 on battery life.
Just got my box today. Will send it back tomorrow. I'm guessing they'll receive it monday and hopefully have it back to me by wednesday?I got an email at 5:05 that my watch arrived today. I got another email at 6:30 saying the same as everyone else, that it was reflashed to the latest and was sent back. The tracking number won't be active for 48 hours, blah blah. I track it and it was picked up at 5:45 and I'll have it back on Monday. If I had gotten it out on Wednesday it would have been a 2 day turnaround. Impressive! Glad I'll have it back Monday.

So they didn't flash my Watch back to OS 1 like they said they would. They sent a new one instead. Oddly, I was kinda hoping they wouldn't do that because with my luck I'll get a lemon when I had one with perfect hardware before. From what I'm seeing, if they get it Monday, it will go back out Monday and you will get it back Tuesday. Hopefully!
I got that email. I ended up getting my same watch back with watchOS 1.01 installed. I have AppleCare. I sent my watch out on a Wednesday at 4:30PM and had it back by 10:30AM Friday. Less than 24 hour turnaround!!!When you did this, did you get an email saying:

Mine too. I searched the address in Maps and it was a tiny town in the middle of corn fields. Random place for an apple service center.Interesting. I got my original back, flashed to 1.0.1. Where did yours get shipped to? Mine went to PA.
