Hey guys, just wondering how early you think I should show up to the apple store to guarantee an iphone? 4am?

EDIT: It's going to be at a new apple store in georgetown that opens tomorrow

And how many iPhones per store are there usually?

reserve?

I reserved one at the Apple Store in Nashville... I think 4am seems good. I called the store and they told me to get there at 6am... but I'm gonna just be safe and do 4am

why would we have to show up early? are we not expecting apple to have as many in stock as they have on previous launch days? Granted you will wait in line a long time, but apple store (in my area) always have enough phones for everyone.

what am i missing?

The fact that preorders currently won't ship til July 14th and reservations are no longer available.

Get your ipad out and I would camp out 10 hours before the opening at apple store. Your ipad will last battery until then. Problem solved.

If you reserved it...anytime. They will hold your phone until store closing. If you don't show up on the 24th they will sell it the next day. Personally I have mine reserved and will try to get to the Apple store around 6-6:30.

Do you know this for a fact? Should I just go there at 6am on the next Friday?

And what if the store I wanna go to is opening tomorrow? SO maybe people couldn't reserve at all?

Well it's a direct quote from Apple in my confirmation e-mail...

"Pickup Date and Time
June 24 starting at 7:00 a.m.
Please note that your reservation will be held until close of business on June 24."

If that's not a fact then I don't know what is. Right from the horse's mouth ;)
