How easy is it to return stuff to Apple.com online store if you don't like it?

    Plus can you use whatever shipping method you please to return it?

    I know you only got 14 days.

    Crazy easy.

    Login to your account. Bring up your order. Click the button to return an item.

    You'll get a printable mailing label that you can affix to the same packaging you received the product in and send it back. Apple pays the return shipping. You get a refund once they confirm they product has been returned.

    Big ticket items (iPads, iPhones, computers) are the same general process but my experience is that you have to initiate the return by speaking to a customer service representative.

    It's the same procedure for all the Apple devices. I returned an iPad in July following exactly the same process. All online and hassle free. Money in my account within 3 days.

    I had at least one IPad that when I tried online directed me to their phone support. Might be different now, or by geography, or based on fraud trends, etc. Just figured it was worth mentioning.
