I called radio shack today and the store manager went to another store to get a white 32gb verizon iPhone and i picked it up after work. Luckily was pretty easy compared to what ive read other people are going through.

Hello,
In Sarasota, FL the Sprint Stores were sold out both here and Bradenton and the Sarasota Best Buy had none. Do not know about VZN and AT&T.

My best friend who lives in Knoxville, TN said HH Gregg had VZN and Sprint Models. I did not realize they even sold them. He said there was also stock at Sam's Club as well.
Cheers,
JJ

I walked into my local Apple store (well, one of them lol... the closest one to my house) and they had 1 iphone just how I wanted in stock and it was the second to last iphone 5 they had in stock and that was saturday afternoon......

they said they received about 700-800 phones total, and were having to turn away so many people because they didn't have any more

good luck with your search!!!! Basically what I learned from this, is NEVER do a pre order, unless you are guaranteed delivery on release day!

:apple:

I walked into my local Apple store on Sunday, asked the first sales person I saw if they had a 64gb black iP5 for Verizon, he said yes and I walked out with it about 20 minutes later.

Vintage Fair Mall, Modesto CA.

you can check on retailers websites. It'll show current stock for the most part.

I checked Best Buy and Radio Shack and it showed whether or not stores around me had them.

Dont know where some of you are but here in the northeast tristate there are NONE.

It's hard to imagine Apple ever letting their flaghip 5th avenue store ever selling out of anything.

The line at 5th Avenue turns me off. On Saturday, when I got my iPhone 5, there were about 100 people in line being "entertained" by street performers, gawkers, and about 10-20 Apple employees as they were let in a few at a time. A mile away at Grand Central, there was no line whatsoever. When a shipment of phones came in around 2:00pm at Grand Central, those of us there got right in line and were out the door a few minutes later with our phones.

Was at the apple store in Nashville when they opened Monday morning and they only had about 20-25 IP5 in stock which were sold out by the time I went thru the line and the started with very few AT&T models but I lucked out with getting the next to last 64gb.

A buddy of mine has been searching since Monday afternoon and can't find any in Nashville now.

Walked into my local ATT store about noon Sunday and picked up the last 32 gig black the had. took about 1/2 hour and I was on my way home

Nothing for ATT in socal. Ive been trying everyday since launch day. I try to reserve one each night at 10pm with no luck. And I visit my local ATT and Apple stores everyday with no luck as well as calling other stores around the area. getting really frustrated  why is it so hard to buy a f*&(ing phone!!!!!

No stock in East Texas AT&T Stores

Lindale, Texas (east of Dallas) AT&T franchise ("Prime Communications") doesn't have stock them as of two days ago.

They recommend walking in to the store saying the item will be direct shipped. Bleh. I'm just waiting.

(Now I'm thinking maybe a used, older, iPhone 5 might be a better move for me.)
