So currently I use my watch to monitor my heart, water intake, sleep, workouts, reply to messages, check the stocks, and the weather.

Is there anything you do with your watch often enough that you would recommend?

Stop watch during workout, answering calls. Navigation, public transport check, Uber, order food delivery, Siri

I use mine to tell the time.

While that's serious it's also a bit facetious. I use mine to control playback of music and audiobooks from my phone, manage Hue lights when I don't want to use voice control, get directions when I'm navigating, wake me up silently, share location with my wife, receive alerts including a still image when ny security cameras detect motion. I'm sure there is more.

All of the above, the occasional Shazam, too.

As a person who does a lot of diarised meetings, having notifications for that on my wrist is really ‘handy’. And I have moved over to completely silent notifications, even going as far as making a silent ringtone for my phone.

Both good points. Especially silent. It’s so long ago that I permanently flicked the mute switch on my iPhone that I had genuinely forgotten it used to make a noise.

I’m the complete opposite. Everything makes sound for me including the keyboard on my iPhone .

But, everything goes to silent at 10:30 at night.

Sleep monitoring. Timers for EVERYTHING. Calendar events and alerts. Sync Audible books to my Watch and listen during workouts--walking and water jogging. Shopping lists. Navigation (back when I went places). MLB scores (back when there was baseball). Fall alerts! Jokes from Siri! And general substitute for my phone (cellular version).

In addition to some of those, I use it daily without the phone to listen to audiobooks, music and podcasts on walks, and to give Siri HomeKit commands like changing the lights en route to another room.

In the middle of several books.
I use mine to monitor outside air quality, phone calls, texts, alarms, exercise, sleep monitoring, email, reminders, weather, fasting, keep track of my iPhone so it doesn’t get left behind, music, dictation, password security, timers, noise decibel monitoring, Apple Pay, calendar, notes

OP what are you tracking your water intake with?

Apple Pay is so much nicer (to me) on the watch than having to get my phone out. And I can still activate with with a knuckle if my hands aren't clean.

Besides the others already mentioned I use the app Hindsight to keep track of when I did certain things. I use the Kayak app to pull up my confirmation number before I print out plane tickets at a kiosk.

WaterMinder is an excellent water app. I use it a lot.

Absolutely agree. I’ve hardly ever used Apple Pay on my phone since getting the watch. Although I’d extend that from just Apple Pay to the actual wallet on the watch. I use it for all sorts of things including scanning the tickets at the airport, paying on public transport, for Starbucks card and a lot of other things.

Yes!!! I still get confused looks from ticket takers when I get into a concert using my watch.

- Having Siri set timers while I'm cooking

- MFA (work requires multi-factor authentication for Office365, and it's SUPER convenient being able to approve those requests on my watch)

- Apple Pay on the watch is slick!!

Between the coasts
ApplePay for sure - much easier to use with Watch than iPhone.
My local ATM machine accepts login from my Watch
Check identity of incoming phone callers
Silencing unwanted incoming phone calls (cover the Watch face with my hand)
Unlocking my Mac
While using turn-by-turn instructions with CarPlay - the Watch produces taptics for upcoming turns
