How far back should you sit from 27" screen? 30"?

What is the optimum seating distance (screen to eyeballs) from a 27" monitor? What about 30"?

There's a lot of chatter about an iMac larger than 27" but will many people have a desk deep enough for proper viewing distance?

I'm typically about 22" to 25" away from my 27" iMac. That seems fine to me.

There isn't an "optimum" distance. It depends on your eyesight, which is different for everyone. Just find what's comfortable for you.
