How fast is iPad 2 browsing compared to a computer?

I have looked all over and all I can find is iPad vs iPad 2 comparisons and not any comparisons to computers.

So, how fast is the iPad 2 in browsing speed compared to a mac or pc?

IPad2: It's fast enough for all (my) practical purposes.

Apple's anti-Flash policy is a bigger issue, especially Shockwave used in games on the web...

Overall I am very happy and use my MBP i7 2010 much less...

I even find my Iphone is faster than any other phone.

PC's are slow..take ages to boot up. The Ipad is quick especially over Wi-fi. Is that not why Googles new OS could rival windows as it has less and it's just apps?

Much slower than my PC, not just with load times but with navigation.
But again I can't browse the web on my PC while relaxing on the couch or on the can.

Im finding that the ipad 2 browsing with mobile safari has significantly slowed down since I first got it, and yes I clear cache, history etc. just seems slower.

Its certainly not slow slow but my computer is way faster.

Why not run a browser benchmark to get some real numbers?

Experience on a desktop/laptop can vary greatly between web browsers and spec
