How fast is Time Capsule?

Curious...how fast are transfer speeds with Time Capsule? I'm debating if this could be an alternative solution to purchasing a stand alone 1tb drive. I'm assuming it is nowhere near say the speed of a FW800 connection, right?

I saw someone say they were getting 12.5MB/s, which is nowhere near 100MB/s theoretical of 1394b, but it's still not too bad for network storage.

12.5MB/s is pretty awesome compared to how not fast the old AEBS wrote to external USB drives. 🙂
