to Photos: 3s
to Contacts*: 4s
to iPod: 4s
to SMS: 3s
to Settings: 4s
to Clock: 4s

* = time to get into Contacts AND be able to scroll through them.

I thought my times were a bit sluggish, but I may be wrong. Post yours.

after a fresh restart, tried a few times to make sure the numbers were close to precise
iPod and Photos less than 2 seconds and Settings,SMS and Contacs roughly 2 secs
iPhone 3g 16Gb

Depends.

If I'm driving it'll do 0-60 in about 6.3 seconds and generally cruise at about 105mph, if my wife's driving it'll never get much above 40.

I just compared my iPhone to a 1G iTouch and a 2G iTouch, trying to open the setting...wow.

The touches took 1-3 sec, mines took ~10.

I want to restore but it's going to mess up my unlock, argh.
