Hello, I am considering getting a refurb blackbook (2.2 ghz) and adding my own RAM probably 4 gig. Right now I have a PC with a Pentium 4 2.4ghz processor and 1.25gb of RAM. I use this PC for the basics and I encode videos so I can put them on my ipod touch and I download movies and music. Should I expect a big performance jump when I get the blackbook? Thanks !

The MB will smoke it. I have a P4 3.0Ghz with 3GB Ram and a 100GB HD (90GB avail) and it takes about 2-3 hours to encode and burn a DVD.
