So after being unsure about what Music I felt like like listening to today, I decided to use iTunes Radio and see what I might discover. It was the first time in months I've actually used the service, and it got me wondering how often people out there are actually using it?

Since its launch, I only actually know one person who uses it regularly, the rest have seemingly forgot about it or moved on to an alternative service for streaming.

One or twice a week. Spotify has a good equalizer that makes music sound better on my Fugoo speaker due to a boost in the base. I use iTunes radio when I'm listening with base-boosting headphones or earbuds. iTunes radio generally has fewer commercials.

Maybe once a week if that. When I don't want to listen to my own music I use Pandora as I find the algorithms used by iTunes Radio to be vastly inferior. Lots of repeats and unrelated songs get played.

We use it all the time for our 21 month old. I really like it. We mostly listed to the Cool Kids/Family station. We can listen to the station for 3-4 hours and never hear a repeat. And, its a great mix of new and old music that is appropriate for a kid. I listen to other stuff, but that station is probably 80%.

Exactly. I have no idea what algorithm Apple is using, but it really sucks. I've tried to use iTunes Radio over and over and keep going back to Google All Access and Spotify.

Apple has spent all this cash on music stuff and it is still vastly inferior to the competition. Beats was a complete and utter waste of money.

Just to be clear... I listen to iTunes Internet Radio, which I believe is different than iRadio. Internet Radio doesn't let you vote, you choose from 1 of 3000+ stations and listen. Drinking my second Rochefort 10 an listening to iTunes Internet Radio right now, so I could be wrong.

iRadio? No idea what that is. I only know of iTunes Radio, which is what I was not happy with.

If I just want to stream a radio station, I'll pick Pandora over iTunes Radio. If I want to listen to a curated music selection I like, I'll use Spotify or Google. If I want to hit the skip button a lot, I'll use iTunes Radio. :D

I tried it for a bit when it was first introduced. It was meh. The playlists for the various stations didn't ever seem to have much to offer. It always felt I was looping back to the same tracks. Occasionally I will play around with it but more often than not I go straight back to spotify where I have ad free and what feels like more to offer with radio stations and of course make your own playlists.

I very rarely use it; it's a pain having to log into my US account. I typically use Pandora when I'm in a "music discovery" mood.
