So I'm considering the idea of getting a fully loaded high end Mac Mini in march as a replacement for my MacBook Pro. My only concern is the HD 4000 integrated graphics.

Heres what I currently do on my MacBooK Pro, with some benchmarks:
(Im using a 1600X900 external display as my primary on a GeForce 320M 256MB)

MineCraft: 30-60 FPS depending on what is going on in game

    Garry's Mod: 30-45 FPS

    Halo CE: 35-40 FPS

Autodesk Maya 2013: Theres no FPS for this, but its always smooth when Im making models.

Adobe Photoshop CS 6: Again, no FPS, but always smooth

Adobe Premiere CS 6: Always smooth, even with multi layered renderings

So if the Mac Mini's HD 4000 can even match this then I'm fine with that (If its better then I wont complain either)

Well that clears things up. If it wasn't sufficient I was going to build a PC and use it for heavy duty stuff. But now I'm sure the mini's graphics are good then theres no need for that.

    Thanks

I find i can play skyrom on mine at acceptable levels of detail. Also i play World of Tanks in a VM Win7 window and again works good enough to not fetract from the gameplay.

Therefore i would say HD4000 is pretty good (for built in gfx)
