I have both an Android tablet and iPad 2. I find the web browsing on Android to be better. Mostly cause of flash, it might be a dying tech but its still out there. I highly prefer the YouTube webpage over the app.

There is a lot of pros to the iPad too....

I use Skyfire which works for most flash videos. For some that don't I was able to download an app that did. The only thing that annoys me is not all google search functionality works with Safari. I use the Atomic web browser which adds back some functionality (because it doesn't identify the search as coming from an iPad) but I still haven't figured out how to view cached sites like I can on my laptop.

I agree re: YouTube. I like the additional search features (especially being able to search for HD content). I wish they would integrate that into the mobile app.

The lack of flash has always been my biggest complaint on iOS devices. It is noticable when surfing (though getting less so) and I think it ruins the surfing experience.

Jobs purely vendictive position regarding flash has inconvenienced many users.

I don't think I've ever encountered a video on my iPad that required Flash.

You know that is not a true nor reasonable statement unless you simply are not using the browser.

This is a true and honest statement of fact.

I can't help but come across flash everyday

I love football and the whole BBC website relies on flash videos. All the football highlights are not on the app, only some videos are.

Everything works great on the transformer prime's built in browser.
