How great are these?

i have never used os x but i am going to buy a new aluminum macbook(2.4)... all my life i have used windows... all of them were good. vista has problems but its a great os. it looks good and also it runs on my computer with pentium dual core, 2.0ghz, 1013mb of ram and an intel integrated graphics. i am changing to os x because i want to try something new and i am sure(maybe) i would like it.

Wow, y'all need to seriously stop hating on Windows...Especially Vista. It has got to be the best OS by Microsoft to this date. If you don't get viruses(virusi?) on it, just like with any other OS, it'll run GREAT. Even the Home edition. I haven't had Vista crash on me in the last 1 year I've had it. I would hate to go back to XP. Sure they changed things on Vista, but its all for the better, so if you actually don't know what they changed (except for the GUI) then you won't see anything better!

All I know is explorer crashes constantly for me, CONSTANTLY.

No its not a terrible OS, but I really cannot wait to jump ship and go leopard, or god willing, snow leopard.
