I've been doing some research in upgrading a Core Duo MacBook to wireless N. I know it's possible with a Mac Pro wireless N card, but not too sure on some of the other details.

This sounds like a project that requires opening the case. To my understanding, upgrading the hard drive and ram does not void the warranty, but that doesn't require quite the surgery that this does. What exactly is involved and does it void the warranty?

I also get the idea that there is a difference in the number of antennas used. Would this mean the signal strength might not be increased much but the speed would? I would like an increase in signal just as much as speed.

Lastly, where's the best place to pick up one of these Mac Pro cards?

Thanks for any help

This pretty much involves opening up your laptop and replacing the wireless card you have at the moment. This would definitely void your warranty.
