Hi, I currently have a PowerBook G4 that was given to me. It currently runs on OS 10.2.8. It has a 1Ghz Processor and 512MB of Ram. I have checked the specs and it does not have enough power to run on Leopard but it does have enough specs to run on Tiger.

If I am able to buy tiger how hard is it to install? There really isn't anything on this Powerbook that I would need to keep so I don't need to save anything. Is this process just insterting the disk and it does all the rest or is it more complicated?

Also I've been looking around where to buy Tiger but haven't been too successful, I did see one reseller selling it for $80. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you much.

Easy. Insert the disc and run the Install. You can either upgrade or do a fresh install. If you don't need anything on the computer I'd suggest a fresh install.

Ebay.
