Hi! How hard is to replace broken housing on an Iphone 4? I just broken it, and I don't want to pay 10000$ to a service, i just want to it by myself, at home. So, is it hard? Do you any advice?

Thanks! Alex

Front = don't try this

What broke the front or back?

If back, Apple replaces them for $29 or you can DIY, it's not hard.

If you broke the front, I suggest you get an out of warranty replacement from Apple for $200, you basically have to disassemble the device entirely and I would not suggest you do so.

Is the back. I will try to do it myself. I already ordered a housing from ebay with some tools. Hope it will be easy

Thanks for your help!

It could hardly be easier. Just be careful not to strip the screws. Once they are out, the back just literally slides up 1/8 inch and off it comes. Reverse it and you are back in business.
