Hi, I had a question for those of you with an Apple Leather case, whether it be for the iPhone 5/5S or the 6/6 Plus. I have the Black leather on my iPhone 6 and it has held up fairly well for the time I have had it. I got mine around 5 months ago and the Leather has not worn out too much. I do have a few nicks here and there but nothing too major. I did notice however if you drop your phone on a corner, it beats the case up pretty bad and dents it in, but its barely noticeable if you are using your phone. If you could post a photo of your case and mention how long you have had it for, I would love to see if it has worn out as much as mine, or maybe even more or less. I am assuming the lighter, especially red which I had previously on my iPhone 5 have worn out a lot more than the darker colours.

I have the olive brown case and I am satisfied with its performance. The case is five months old and used daily and shows some minor scuffs, scratches and discoloration. I really like the fit of the case and the texture provides just the right amount of grip to hold the phone comfortably. The leather has worn smooth on the sides but grip texture remains. Also I don't mind the imperfections and so the case is getting "better" over time.

A buddy of mine has this and it's begun fraying at the corners. Looks pretty bad. for the price, it's sort of a ripoff.

I have both the Apple silicone case in white and the leather in black. While I really like the slimness of the leather, I find it's a decent case if you put it on and leave it. Removing it to exchange with my white case caused the bottom inside corners to peel away the leather. So while I really liked the black leather, I couldn't deal withy the bottom edges being damaged so I'm back to my white silicone.

I have the Midnight Blue Case for both my iPhone and iPad. Is there any way to apply a leather treatment to prevent it from darkening? I hate that my iPhone case is now black instead of blue...kind of defeats the purpose.

Exactly why I just went with the black leather. I want the Brown but samething like the midnight blue, ages well but comes close to black.

What? When you drop it on the corner it "beats it up" No......

Cone one now..... Of course it will beat it up... you dropped it! Mine has many badges of honor from drops and it kept the phone pristine while adding character to my red case. It has darkened around the edges perfectly just as natural leather should. I think over all it's a great case.

ALL leather darkens as it ages..... it's still blue it's just a deeper darker blue. Go put it next to a black one and you'll see what I mean. Did this with my wife's and was surprised it did look almost black..... but I knew this would happen because I know natural leather darkens with age and it's to be expected. Now you do too.

I had bought the black leather case and it honestly hasn't shown much wear on it. It's been about five months and it still looks pretty decent.

I bought the black leather case and have had it about five months. I'm not sure if it is the "best" iPhone case, but I really like it. Still looks new... no cracking, chipping, pealing, etc. Best "grip" I have had with any case.

I've had two of the dark brown leather cases. One of them tore after just a few months. Right now I have my second one that's DEFINITELY lasted longer than the first one I have. Some of the leather has kinda scuffed and ripped off from when I dropped my phone once and it scratched off some of the fabric. Otherwise it's doing good. I swap it out between my Unicorn Beetle Pro every so often.

Mine have held up perfect. I take them off all the time with no issues. Really been impressed with the leather cases! Got the blue Nov 1st and the brown about a month and half now.

How do you take them off without scuffing up the leather on the inside of the bottom corners? I really like this case but have had bad luck with the edges of the leather fraying from catching the edges of the phone when taking it off and putting it back on.

My brown leather case has held up about the same. Ill probably get another one in a couple of months to replace it though. The leather has worn on the bottom edge to the point that the plastic underneath is shows but its not that noticeable since the case has aged to almost back near the bottom.

My black one has held up pretty good so far. Have had it for about five months now but I just started using it again after a 1 month break.

Is the brown turning dark looking close to black?

My blue leather case has held up well. I dropped it on a corner and it frayed, but I clipped it off with shears and you can't even tell. I also use a leather conditioner from time to time of the case looks dry. I used it everyday until I got my ultra thin tech 21 smoke color case.

I've had mine for a few months. Except for the Apple logo on the back, it's in great shape. I keep it in my right pocket along with a few plastic pens I carry around for work. I imagine they've rubbed the logo a bit beyond repair.

Hey everyone! I, like many of you, plan on buying an iPhone 6S when it comes out, and I think that, for the first time, I might put a case on it (or at least try one). I really don't like most cases because they change the form factor of the phone, don't fit quite perfectly, etc., but the cases Apple has sold with the 6 seem not to have this issue - their fitted and designed very well.

As a whole, I prefer the leather case - I like the deeper colors more and the feel more, and I don't like the idea of my phone picking up a lot of lint/sticking to my pocket. I'm even ok with the little bit of outside wear (slight scratches, etc.) that any leather item will pick up. I do have one worry, though: many leather products I've used stretch slightly over time. And as I've already mentioned, I have issues with cases that don't fit snugly.

So my question to those of you who have/have had Apple's leather cases for 1+ years is: how do they fit now? Are they stretched out in a way that is at all noticeable? And while you're here... how are they holding up as a whole (possibly compared to silicone if you've used one of those before)?

Thanks!

I purchased a new red 5S leather case about a month ago at Apple and cleaned it today for the first time. It's a dirt magnet, but not only that, the red dye rubbed off a little bit.

As for my 6+ Apple red leather case, I cleaned it for the first time today since owning it Jan. 2015, and it wasn't as dirty. The red dye on this did not rub off.

Both cases, especially the 6+ is holding up very well, considering the 5S case is only one month old.

I had the silicone and I hated it, but it was really good for protection. Now I have a midnight blue leather case. So much nicer! I will let you know how it holds up.

I've had my iPhone 6 Plus black leather case since January. It's held up perfectly. There were a few times where bubbles appeared from moisture but I was able to flatten them back down. I also just dropped my phone for the first time this morning on concrete. Now I have scuffs on the bottom corners :( But after time I'm sure they will wear in and not be very noticeable. No damage to the phone though!! Great case! I will get another at some point I'm sure.

I've owned five of them...and only five because my first one I used on my iPhone 6 had some bubbling issue. I've concluded that it sat in water somewhere...and the leather case HATES to get wet. Cool thing is that Apple proved they have the best CS ever by replacing it, no questions asked. Very satisfied.

Wow. Either I changed pockets or I was wrong but it's in my left pocket now. And all 4 corners are peeling. Is anyone else seeing this? I thought it was happening due to slipping it in my ProClip car mount but it's happening at the top corners too.
