Days since last refresh just passed 500...

Of course this is a rhetorical question; just venting frustration!

On the bright side this is not as bad as the Thunderbolt display I bought a couple months back which uses the exact same display panel as the 2006 iMac 27 inch.

Truly a first world problem, but where is my shiny new toy?

I feel your frustration as I'm sure most do. Hopefully the upgrade will be worth the wait. It seems like most of the upgrades depend on intel's upgrades to their processors. Some say that there isn't a big jump that the mini could take with the current batch. I think most people really just want the GPU update at this point because at the high end a quad core i7 is enough.

It looks like the buyer's guide has the average at 381, so hopefully we get something sooner rather than later. Maybe they really are re-designing it.

    From Mac Rumors Buyers Guide:
    http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/

The iMac has gone 577 days in the past,
    Mac Pro - 685 days,
    MacBook Air - 499 days,
    MacMini - 574 days,
    Apple TV - 608 days,
    Displays - 651 days,
    MacBook Pro - 634 days
    iPod Classic - 1640 days
    iPhone - 364 days
    iPad - 374 days

The past doesn't predict the future of course, but it kind of puts things in perspective..

I hope they are not pushing to crack the iPod Classic record.
