J jcorbin macrumors 65816 Original poster Jan 5, 2017 #1 I was troubleshooting something on my phone and had to log in and out of my iCloud account several times and reboot as well. My phone got uncomfortably hot but didn't shut down. Could it get hot enough to cause damage to the internals or seal

Newtons Apple Suspended Jan 5, 2017 #2 You iPhone should shut down if it gets too warm. It should dim the screen and throttle the CPU first as they are the biggest sources of heat.
