In particular can anybody give me a temp readout on their penryn mbp, when playing wow.

rychencop, you must be mistaken. at temps of 1500-2800, your entire laptop would be facing meltdown, and, heck, your whole house/office with it. I believe it's enough to even melt human body parts.

wow those sound kind of hot, my 17inch 2.6 gets to like 78C when i play at the highest res. Also i limit my frames a little but if I keep my fps limited to 30 then my computers stays around 68C.

Wirelessly posted (Treo 700wx - Alltel: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

I get about 75-85c. I have also left my system rendering for a few days and was at these temps...no issues what so ever. the penryns are so much cooler than my 1st gen core duo MBP.

My mbp sr run about 80 degrees celcius when I was playing Age of Empire III,but it basicly the same with the other game since it trigger a lot of processor power
