How hot should my iMac be and some odd things running

I have a '09 24in iMac and the HD temp is in the 120F range. CPU is over 100F, is this normal?

Also I see processes running like ps, configd,windowserv..., pmtool......What is this stuff? Thanks for any help

Those temps are downright cool. Nothing to worry about at all. My iMac is in that range running at an idle. Your CPU can easily handle up to 60 C, your hard disk more or less in the same range.

My Mac Mini is around those temperatures. Your iMac's temperature is completely normal.
