okay, on my new macbook the iCal displays todays date.

On my old powerbook, it just says July 17 is there any way to make it change with the day?

Upgrade to Leopard. Apple added some special hooks to the Dock in Leopard just to make that work (seriously).

i was afraid of the upgrade answer!! LOL

funny, i thought my powerbook was freaking awesome until i got the macbook!
the macbook is quiet as hell and heaps faster than my g4!!!! 😱
