Today...my Facebook app went BACK to the bottom menu bar...for no reason? I think they are trying to phase out the drawers???

More than likely it's some test that Facebook is running, as they do on their website as well. They often test different (new) features and designs with various different (often random) sets of accounts, so sometimes people will see something different than other people, based on their account. This has mostly been happening on the website for quite a while now, but seems like they are doing something similar with their mobile app(s) as well.
