I know 7 can let you make one special effect but I dont really use that anyway
I dont think the zoom is that useful too, too little range different
When 7 decides there isnt enough light, it turns to digital zoom which is bad.
Except these how is the photo quality comparison?

I Don't think the differences are major between the 6S and iPhone 7. Portrait mode on iPhone 7 Plus has its appeal. I Personally like the 10x digital zoom on the 7+ for longer range photos.

Better low light photography

Absolutely. A huge plus if you're a night person.

OP , some night-time shots from Sydney (iPhone 7 Plus, all unedited):

And just a few shots from sunset, today for fun. Also apples compare function lists the 7 models as having "wide colour capture" to combine with the wide colour gamut

Only thing you will gain is the portrait mode on the 7+ which IMO is not worth upgrading to if you are coming from a 6S+. I have a 7+ and the low light photos are still crappy and grainy...I don't even think it is an order of magnitude better than the camera on my previous 6+.

Keep your 6S+...

Same sensor, not expecting much different.
