is there someone who is using new Apple Airpods? I like to know how is the experience. How it's different from any other Bluetooth earphone? And even if it had a jack I personally prefer the usual earphone. I like to know how it has become special from all other earphones.

They're Apples own headphones. There's no crazy sound quality, if anything the sound quality is a bit worse than other headphones within that price range. The reason they're popular is because it's an Apple product (which ensures seamless integration and functionality across a wide range of their own products). They're certainly a great option if you're just looking for a wireless headphone that charges via lightning cable and if you're heavily invested into Apples ecosystem.

Are they the best headphone in that price range in terms of sound quality? Certainly not. But they can be serviced / replaced inside of Apples stores. There's ups and downs to them for sure, but if you're not an audiophile and not looking for an amazing sound experience and looking more for convenience, they're a great option.

I have owned AirPods since they were first announced, and just replaced that pair. I don't think much of Apple service and support -- too hit and miss. I like them because 1) they are fully capable of replacing the wired version. That is, they can be used to listen and talk. Mostly I use them one at a time, listening to podcasts while I walk or talking on the phone. And since I like the fit of the wired headphones, I knew the AirPods would be the same fit. Not everyone's ear's are shaped to be comfortable with Apple's design, but mine fit perfectly.

It automatically pairs with your apple device and automatically stop the music when youtake them off... and they don’t feel like theyre there... which can be a con since i dropped one of them in the toilet and flushed it since i didn’t realize it was in my ear and i just woke up... i don’t know about current bluetooth market but before airpods bluetooth headphones needs to be manually paired when it doesn’t pair autimatically...

I bought a pair of Mpow Bluetooth headphones for about $25. I like Apple products, but couldn't see spending the cash apple wants for these for such a little difference in experience. I still kind of want a pair, but it's not that big a deal from where I sit.

At the risk of sounding like a commercial, "they just work." The bluetooth and durability (mine have been laundered) are important aspects too. The sound quality is surprisingly good. This does depend on how the air pods fit your ear, and the sound you want from your headphones. I am one that seeks a flat response. People wanting bass enhanced or a different sound profile will be disappointed unless they mess with their music program's eq. Everyone has their opinion, so my "surprisingly good" should be tempered against those above who differ.

The fit in ear is also an issue for some with regards to comfort. I know one person that gave up on airpods as they were always falling out. I have not had this issue, and I do use them for workouts from time to tome.

I do go through a lot of headphones in a year. I usually am on a cycle of sending pairs back for warranty repairs and introducing new ones to the cycle. (I know Shure's address off the top of me head.) I'd rate them above everything I've tried. This includes the Bose sound sports which are in my mind are at a similar product point.

I would not classify them as audiophile for sure. I'm not sure any bluetooth headphones would make this cut. You could get really good wired headphones for the price. (My current "durable" wire favs at this price would be from RHA.)

I've never had my Airpods fail the charging process. This is generally the point of failure for wireless headphones. The in case charging also works better than any other headphones I've owned.

I'm not a fan of how they look when you wear them. I'll give that a pass based on their superior and consistent functionality.

Airpod 2s are better than the original.
The originals had issues connecting between multiple devices.
New one is worth it if they fit you...fast pairing and recharging.

The answer to your question is this: Convenience.

1. Open the AirPods case, it connects automatically to all the Apple devices you have nearby.
2. You can choose the AirPods as a source in the AirPlay menu, like if I am listening to music on iPhone then I want to watch a movie in Apple TV while a toddler is sleeping, two clicks with the Siri Remote.
3. Someone is talking to you while you are listening to music, take it away and it pauses the music, put it back and it resumes.
4. With all the previous Bluetooth headsets I’ve used, the batteries is almost always dead when I need it, with the AirPods the case makes sure it is always ready when I need it.
5. The size of the case is perfect for any pocket.
