Hello. I recall that Snow Leopard has a new feature called Resolution Independent. Have not heard of it lately. Is this feature disabled?
If not, is it working nicely on high-definition laptop LCD screens? Thanks.

Still not there. Probably can be activated with some Terminal command but no real options for it yet. 10.7 will probably truly have it working.

Psh, Resolution Independence won't be done until you can get screens as dense as iPad/iPhone screens in 15"+ sizes. Hell, 10.4 was supposed to have Resolution Independence [source], but it's been delayed and delayed.

If you have the Developer Tools installed, you can activate resolution independence using the Quartz Debug application, but you'll notice very quickly that it has a ton of rough edges.
