Now that iCloud Drive should be a mature product, how are its syncing capabilities when you have hundreds of thousands of files in it? I have a huge number of files I want to keep as JPGs, not part of a photo library, and iCloud Drive is one way I am looking at syncing them between two Macs with access available via iPad too.

Not sure how it is with a Mac, but iCloud for Windows has been terrible. I have all my iTunes music library and my photos stored in iCloud Drive. I had to uninstall iCloud from my computer, because it kept creating new instances of the content folders in the drive directory. Deleting those clone instances would delete the content from iCloud. So I backed up all my files (well over 1TB), uninstalled iCloud Drive, and reinstalled it. That was almost 2 weeks ago downloading 24/7, and it says it still has 27,000 files left to download.
