How is iOS 9 on the iPad 2

Anyone got iOS 9 on the iPad 2??

I've read and seen some videos about iOS 9 on the 4S and it seems that it runs very well for some, not well for others. Same goes for pretty much all A5 devices… So I'm wondering how it is on the iPad 2 😛

What are you running on and is it a clean install?

I've chatted to severa you tubers who are finding iOS 9 faster than iOS 8 on the iPad Mini 1 and iPhone 4S.

I tested ios 9 on 5s, mini 2 and 4s, clean install for all.

Strange. I wish things were consistent. At least iOS 9 apparently is definitely better on the A7 devices.

Hmmm, so you didn't restore from backup? I've seen side by side videos and it performs slightly better than iOS 8 on the A7.

Some people describe a clean install as erasing then restoring from a backup so I wasn't sure.

Just installed via 'Update' on my iPad Air 2. Seems to be running fine accept i can't get the Split View to work. The little icon to drag the app to Split View is not there?

Right now split view won't work with most 3rd party apps. Not sure if they need to update it or if it's just a bug right now but I've only seen it working on stock apps.

I think oldmacs was looking for feedback on the iPad 2, not the iPad Air 2.
