How is ios8 on iPad mini first generation?

    Is it not changing much compare to ios7?
    Should I upgrade it to iOS 8 or stay with ios7

    Technically similar to the ipad2. Should be fine from my experience.

    If you need openvpn, you may delay the upgrade, though.

    Some say good enough some say bad. You can chance it and downgrade before it's too late.

    How long can I still downgrade to iOS 7?

    I can't tell you. But last year they stopped allowing downgrades 6 days after iOS 7 was released.

    If we go by that, you have until next Tuesday*.

    *don't kill me if they stop sooner

    Downgrades may be possible only the next 24-48 hours, so hurry!

    Test the device and your major apps for a few hours and then make a decision. I downgraded today and it was easy.
