I've never understood how silky smooth scrubbing in Spotify is, yet in Music.app it is jerky and stiff. Does iOS 10 improve this?

Assuming you are talking song scrubbing, it's fantastic on the first beta.

Past major iOS versions had jerky scrubbing and it improved as it approached public release.

Scrubbing is actually fine in the music app, but awful in control center. The more people that report it to apple, the more likely it'll be fixed.

Improved over previous versions of iOS?

iOS 10 beta 1, beta 2, GM, its all iOS 10. Perhaps don't respond next time. ;)

That's not necessarily true. Its Beta 1. Of course there will be bugs. Nice comeback though....real help to the community. If you're so curious, just try it.

Scrubbing is good in the music app

It's virtually impossible to do in the control centre

I know there will be bugs. I am running iOS 9. I asked how scrubbing is as of now I'm iOS 10 aka did Apple fix how clanky it is in iOS 9. Then someone replied with a cocky answer saying "we don't know because it's not out" when I'm clearly speaking of the beta. Which... Is iOS 10.
