I have an iPhone 6 on iOS 10.3.3 and i'm abstaining from updating due to the battery issues and people complaining about their phones getting slower, some people are saying iOS 11.0.3 is ok but it's still leaning towards bad and some people have reported that iOS 11.1 Beta 3 is very very good. Should I update or stay on 10.3.3 until iOS 11.(x)

Performance has definitely gotten worse compared to iOS10 on my wife's 6. More random crashes in the stock camera app also. Luckily she will be getting my 6S when my X arrives.

11.0.3 isn’t too good even on an iPhone 7. iOS 11.1 Beta is much better. At least on an iPhone 7 and iPad 10.5.

It seems about the same on my iPhone 6. Maybe slight sluggishness in an app or two. But otherwise it doesn't seem to be bogging down too much. I don't like a couple of the changes. Don't like how my bluetooth icon/symbol doesn't go gray when it's not connected to my device. Also hate the new landscape keyboard.

But other than that, there haven't been any real glitches so far. Seems like some users have upgraded with few issues while others say their device has really slowed down when they've done that upgrade.

I agree, it hasn't been too bad. It's just aging naturally. I did upgrade to the 11.1 Beta 3 and there has been a slight improvement, most notably in battery life for me.

I've slogged through all the public betas for iOS 11 on my 6+. 11.1 public beta 2 was back to crashes, reboots and resets. For me at least, 11.1, public beta 3 seems to be working well.

I own a launch day 6 plus, works just as good on 11 as it did with iOS 10. It lags slightly but doesn’t ruin the experience imo. We also own a 6 not a plus running iOS 11 and that too performs well, both devices still great battery life.

I plan on updating to an iPhone X but I like to keep my devices up to date, even if it means dealing with a few lags.

iphone 6 with ios 10, biggest mistake i ever made. i should have stayed on ios9 . I will not upgrade, the new ios are meant for much highers specifications.
