Hello. I am using both Mac OS/X and Vista 64-bit on my MBP. I am considering to buy the Educational version of Adobe CS5 Production Premium (mainly using Illustrator but once in a while photoshop and Premiere). How is the Mac version compared with the Windows version? Is it better or the same? Thanks.

I'd like to know as well. I just got a new MBP 15" i7 and plan to get CS5. I'm also thinking of running Windows 7 on it. Is there any reason at all to purchase the Windows version of CS5 or should I stick with the Mac version? Is the Mac version 64 bit and does that matter?

I've always been a Windows user and thought about running Windows 7 as my primary OS on the MPB, but Mac OS seems OK.

The only different I know of is that I can use the Helvetia font for free on the Mac version. There must be lots of other differences that I am not aware of.

hey,
i am a user of all of CS5 on my mac and well Photoshop when it was being built at Adobe was first built on a mac, so basically they are more mac friendly as my friend baught a new super computer and well i put CS5 on that and it runs way slow compared to my mac.
Illustrator i have herd runs alot smoother on a Mac so if i was i would go for a mac version rather than a windows version!
