The MM isn't very good for situations where you need to switch between left and right click constantly, plus I find that click-dragging with the MM is awkward plus being a little on the heavy side it slows you down.

Worked fine for me. I'm not all hardcore, though.

Hardest part is keeping the damn scroll ball clean.

I found the MM horrible for pretty much any gaming; having to lift your hand off the left button to right-click gets old pretty fast. My hand cramped up after just a single game of DotA (WC3 custom map), and that is really saying something because I don't think that's ever happened to me with any other mouse. Because WoW requires less right-clicking, it wasn't as bad as in DotA, but I still ditched my MM for my iBook trackpad before too long.

I can honestly say it was my worst gaming control experience since the time I had to use a Wacom tablet to play Quake 3.

If you want to play games on your Mac, buy a Razer Pro|Click v1.6 (the white, made-to-match-Mac version of the Razer Diamondback). It's comfortable, precise, and it tracks wonderfully.

I wonder why Apple still uses one button trackpads, and even releases seemingly one button mouses. Isn't it just easier to add 2 distinct buttons and be done with. It's no big deal Apple, your design isn't always the best, you know.

    In short, bad.

I really like the Mighty Mouse, and I found that I naturally lift my finger when right clicking, whichever mouse I am using, so the right clicking on its own does not bother me.

My main problem with it and WoW is that you can't right click and left click simultaneously (as redsteven mentions in his post above). I use both buttons together to run, and so have had to resort to another mouse.

I disagree with most of the posts, IMHO the MM is terrible product and Apple should be ashamed of themselves for developing such a god-awful mouse.

The MM feels horrid, the scroller ball thingy clogs with dirt after a few uses and the cable is by far too short for anything. I am a fan of Apple but I do believe that the MM could easily be crowned as the worst Apple product in the last decade.

I bought myself a Razer Diamondback and it seriously is the best mouse I have ever used (plus it looks cools).

The MM should be considered as a present for Oscar the Grouch....

Don't use the MM for web browsing, let alone gaming.

Razer DeathAdder or Logitech MX revolution (if you wanna go wireless).

I would hate if Apple ever released a one-button trackpad. I always click mine on the right half of it (my right hand rests comfortably at an angle, naturally placing my thumb more to the right), and I get so frustrated on PC laptops because I keep right-clicking.

Also, from my experience, there is no way for the mouse to register a two button click (left + right buttons). I tried all kinds of combinations and looked in the options but nothing came up. If it wasn't for this, I would of bought one.

You got it right on the head here. You can't fly or swim well with the MM. I gave mine to my mom for free!
