Hullo,
I have searched this site and the web, danced my finger over the keyboard holding shift and/or alt then every other modifyer key in various combinations. To no avail.

I did find some interesting things such as an apple and the encyclopædia dramatica logo (I cant be bothered to look for it's proper name), but no|.

I have a British keyboard and appropriate setting.

Please help.

Thanks

On a US keyboard, it's shift-backslash. What happens if you do that on your UK one?

Edit: That also works for me if I manually change the layout to British (and I know that the change has worked because shift-3 gives £ now).

Looks like it's right next to the left Shift key.

Ok, I'll bite

If you couldn't find the key on your keyboard, how did you get it in the title and the post? You don't say that you used a different one.
