update: still sucks and i dont know why also my usage and standby is way too close together. to top it all off my Apple Watch battery died after an hour today

In my experience, the one thing that was running in the background is no longer running. I'm not sure what it was, but it's gone, for now. I just reset all settings and did a hard reset days later. Ever since then, I've been seeing normal usage once again.

I've been getting around 3 hours of usage time before having to plug in. Keep in mind this phone currently has no sim installed, and is only used while on wifi...so there's no cellular drain whatsoever. Push is off, all system location services off, apps only use location when open, and background app refresh off. The most I've ever gotten out of any iOS 9 beta or final on my iPhone 6 has been four hours...five at a stretch.

My battery life on my 6s is not so special. I think tomorrow I'll do a restore, maybe it helps? I had installed the beta update via iTunes, but about the 'normal' update and not restore function.

With iOS 9.2.(1) I came on about 8 hours use per day.

I'm not terribly excited about mine. I'll reset all settings and hopefully that will fix it.

I do not enable battery percentage. It decreases my anxiety levels. I charge my 6S Plus every night. But even after my moderate to heavy usage around 40-50% is always there at bedtime.

But I do believe that 9.3 B1 is consuming slightly more battery.

i blame night mode and ive noticed my iPhone is getting warmer.

ps i know its beta ;)
Your phone is getting warmer or your screen is getting warmer? Decide! :p

My battery lasts less and phone is getting warmer as well. Heat means cpu cycles so something is eating up battery. Of course it could be an app not optimized for 9.3. As always there is the possibility of that with betas.

i dont believe the .x updates will change the battery life of the devices by 20%+. everything lower than that is sort of negligent to me.

A vast majority of macrumors' are people who crave improvement, even if the improvement isnt there. they will persduade themselves there is some sort of improvement whether it be battery life, speed, responsiveness etc.

The last clear example of an actual noticeable performance boost i have personally noticed would be updating to Snow Leopard. Damn that thing was fast.

.x updates on iOS.. wow 1.2% speed increase. stand back haha

Mine has been the same with 9.3, 9.2, 9.1, 9.0.2, 9.0.1, 9.0... Which all has been roughly similar to iOS 8.4.1 or maybe a little worse.

I take my phone off at 6AM when I leave the house and with Streaming music and playing CC though out. I work off my phone all day and I don't get to 20% till 7 PM and I don't put it on the Charger till 10 PM when I go to sleep

iPhone 6. Tod was a more heavy day, LTE and higher brightness/some games until about 30% when it went back down to more normal usage on wifi, lower brightness. Also listened to a lot more music than I usually would, so. Oh and I was on power saver mode (not even convinced it does anything) all day so considering everything, not outstanding lol.
