Im getting anywhere from an hour to 2 hours less battery life on my 2018 12.9 iPad Pro. When I was using my Logitech slim folio pro I was getting an average of about 12 hours battery life and now I’m getting 10.5 hours. When I had the Magic Trackpad 2 and was using it with my iPad Pro I did notice I was getting less usage. I wonder if this will be fixed in a future update. Just to confirm I have disabled the keyboard backlighting.

You're saying that you got the advertised battery life? That is a total shocker!

Ive always gotten more than 10 hours on all my iPads. I keep the brightness at 20% and disable a lot of features. At one point I was getting as much 15 hours.

Initially mine was poor but I did a reset all settings, and the latest point release of iOS helped. It's normal now (same as pre-Magic Keyboard).

I’m definitely getting noticeably worse battery life since using the Magic Keyboard. I’d say about 2 hours less per day and that is with the keyboard back lighting completely off.

I didn’t notice much of an impact honestly and I have the magic keyboard brightness up fairly high. iOS screen is at 50%. Once i turned off background refresh or something like that I’ve noticed much better battery life.

My average each day is around 8 hours screen usage

8am off charge and by 18.30 normally on about 10%
